Sitel Adds 200 Agents and Support Staff to New Business

Sitel, a major player in outsourced customer care services, recently announced it is hiring for 200 new customer service and travel agent positions.

Officials said the hiring will help Sitel support its new business and growth opportunities with existing clients.

The newly appointed Las Vegas associates will be responsible for creating an excellent customer experience for customers, needing assistance planning their travel arrangements and expecting the highest quality of service.

"In Las Vegas, Sitel continues to grow with our existing customer base as a result of the service provided by our outstanding employees. This commitment to service is affording us the opportunity to hire 200 more qualified customer service and travel professionals during February and March," said Linda Chambliss, site director of Sitel's Las Vegas facility, in a statement.

In order to hire suitable candidates, Sitel is hosting an onsite job fair, in partnership with the Nevada Department of Employment. Interested applicants need to have previous customer service experience and strong computer knowledge.

Prospective applicants who are interested in joining the talented team in Las Vegas can also apply in Sitel's "Careers" section at www.sitel.com.

According to the company’s officials, Sitel, with more than 26 years of industry experience, has a long reputation for promoting team members through the ranks to management positions.

The firm also spends a substantial amount of money on providing training and ongoing learning opportunities to grow valuable career skills.

In related news, Sitel has opened a new call center in Eton, Manila, The Philippines.

The new location is Sitel's ninth customer care center in the country, where the company already has 13,000 active skilled employees.
