NIKSUN Unveils Alpine Software 4.2.1

NIKSUN (News - Alert) Alpine empowers users with even more powerful analytics than before. The company combines unique, quick visualization and reporting capabilities, to provide users with a solution that is better, faster and easier. The NIKSUN Alpine sets new performance standards with up to 50 percent increase in sustained capture and 20 percent improvement in response time and is built with the latest high speed processors.

Recently, the company announced a new release of Alpine 4.2.1 for NIKSUN’s award winning suite of security and performance management solutions. According to the company, this new release continues the positive momentum created by the Alpine architecture and provides users with more for their investment.

NIKSUN’s latest Alpine release provides security professionals with best-in-breed tools to fight data ex-filtration. NIKSUN presents the most important alerts for rapid remediation by the security analyst after it carefully scans the data for protocol spoofs, destination alerts, suspicious traffic, Denial of Service (DoS) attacks and the many other such elements, the company stated in a statement.

“Real cyber threats are coming in unknown ways,” said Dr. Parag Pruthi, NIKSUN founder, chairman, and CEO. “Traditional ways of finding attacks and reacting to them is no longer useful in dealing with state-sponsored cyber attacks or sophisticated cyber criminals. We created the NIKSUN Alpine architecture as a platform to make the Unknown Known, to deal with next generation attacks that will possibly remain unknown for a long time!”

Recently, the company entered the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region.
