SAP AG Releases SAP CRM Rapid-Deployment Solution for Citizen Contact Center

The newly released SAP (News - Alert) CRM rapid-deployment solution for citizen contact center is capable of accelerating a government multi-channel contact center implementation. The solution should help governments deliver services and information to its citizens while also maintaining the highest levels of customer service.

The new SAP CRM rapid-deployment solution for citizen contact center was unveiled as part of the SAP Urban Matters program, an initiative with the goal of helping cities and urban settlements improve the lives of people and deliver better, more effective government. With so many challenges facing cities and urban settlements, SAP Urban Matters reportedly focuses on helping customers and partners sort out the issues related to rapid urbanization, the drive for smarter economies, the need for sustainable growth and the power of connected citizens.

“Governments everywhere are looking for ways to increase efficiency, improve services and get citizens more engaged. The rapid deployment of citizen contact center with CRM enables our customers to quickly benefit from superior functionality combined with industry best practices. The solution can be deployed quickly for a fixed cost, helping them achieve quick results while minimizing the risks typically associated with a new software project”, said Jens Romaus, senior vice president and global head of public services industry solutions at SAP, in a statement.

The CRM rapid-deployment solution for citizen contact center is stated to be built on the core customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities and in one package, clients will get everything they need to be up and running quickly, including preconfigured software and implementation services in just weeks. With a defined scope and predictable costs, there are no surprises and it is scalable to accommodate growth.

Some of the notable benefits offered by SAP rapid-deployment solutions are: quick installation along with preconfigured software, content and enablement; support social channels and mobile deployments; different deployment, hosting and financing options from SAP or its broad ecosystem of partners; and more.
