Stream Global Services Looking to Fill 350 Positions at Sergeant Bluff Call Center

The call center industry has shown tremendous growth in the past couple of years. The industry is responsible for employing thousands of people in each state throughout the country. Stream Global Services has realized the benefits of conducting business through a call center and it plans on hiring over 300 people for its new center near Sioux City.

Stream Global Services handles business process outsourcing and has clients over 20 countries throughout the world including North America, Africa, and India. It has expanded its services since its inception in 2007 to include sales, customer care, technical support, and other complex outsourcing services. “Our support professionals care deeply about customers and make the right decisions at the right time, enabling Fortune 1000 companies to increase revenue generation, operational efficiencies and brand loyalty,” said Stream Global.

Now, the company plans to add to its 50 call centers located around the world, by opening an additional one in Sergeant Bluff. The Associated Press (News - Alert) reported that the company plans to fill at least 350 positions in its new service center. “The company says the new positions in Sergeant Bluff will provide sales and customer support for a variety of clients. Steam Global will host an open house at the service center on Thursday.”

Berry Belcher, site director for Stream in Sergeant Bluff, said the company is looking for anyone who is comfortable working over the phone with customers. “We are looking for talented people who are committed to helping customers resolve issues as we fill these positions in Sergeant Bluff,” said Belcher. “We have created a really vibrant and career-oriented work environment at Stream. We also provide excellent training and career development opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports success.”

Although the company will be holding its open house at its service center located at 102 Sergeant Square Drive, applicants who can’t make the event can still apply online through the company’s career page.
