Voice Management Suite version 5.0 Adds a Twist to Logistics Operations

In a bid to bridge the gap between static dashboard reporting and real time action, Voxware (News - Alert), a voice solution provider, released version 5.0 of its Voice Management Suite version 5.0 (VMS) at the Modex 2012, currently underway in Atlanta.

The result was an improved version of Voxware's VMS with enhanced capabilities and the introduction of VoxPilot, a role-based, action-oriented, scalable work force management tool for voice-directed operations.

“Version 5.0 is a major advancement providing the ability to make immediate real time adjustments to distribution operations across multiple facilities. This capability will allow an organization to react to changing customer priorities throughout the day,” said Keith Phillips, CEO at Voxware, in a press release.

The added capabilities in the recent version of Voxware's VMS ensure that management functions can be operated from any device. In addition, quick message-based interfacing has been enabled and new workflow management options have been delivered.

Company officials at Voxware stated that the new VMS is easier to integrate, easier to use, easier to change and easier to interface than any other solution on the market.

It is stated to be the first role-based tool that gives transparency to everyday operations, enables enhancement of customer service and has the ability to scale across multiple facilities- operating from a single console.

Using VoxPilot’s unique “one-click” bridge from display to action, users can view real time operations and immediately take corrective action. This immediacy opens up the possibility of shifting priorities and distribution in operations whenever needed and enhances the solution finding process.

In other news, Voxware and Manhattan Associates (News - Alert), the supply chain optimization company, announced that Voxware has become a member of Manhattan’s Value Partner program.
