Century 21 Upgrades Digital Signage Software with NCR Netkey



Century 21’s designer department stores throughout the metropolitan New York area and its flagship location in lower Manhattan will be upgraded with the latest version of the NCR Netkey digital signage solution.

The NCR Netkey is supposed to help the retail chain enhance the shopping experience for customers by providing informative and rich multimedia content.

Century 21 asserted that it will also use NCR Netkey to improve the effectiveness and reach of its marketing programs, and it looks forward to applying the NCR Netkey product to further differentiate its stores while better engaging its customers with marketing and other relevant information through advanced in-store technologies like digital signage.

The NCR Netkey digital signage software enables clients to engage their customers with compelling digital display HD graphics and video and build a dynamic communication pipeline over anyplace they want to interact with their customers. NCR claimed that its software has proved its efficiency from small installations with a few dozen screens to large installations with thousands of screens.

Officials with NCR stated that digital signage is a high impact means for retailers like Century 21 to better connect with shoppers. The NCR Netkey digital signage software will help Century 21 realize this goal by providing greater flexibility in content management, simplifying the design of digital signs and enabling high-quality, multimedia content.

NCR added that by delivering more tailored multimedia content, marketers will have greater tools to engage consumers at a local level through a centrally managed digital signage network. The Netkey software includes support for Microsoft (News - Alert) Active Directory that lets management of user access permissions or addition of new users via an existing centralized user directory for simplifying network administration.
