FileHold Partners with ARX

December 05, 2011

Document management software specialist FileHold Systems Inc., partnered with ARX, Inc., a provider of CoSign digital signature solution.

Digital signatures replace slow, expensive, and unproductive paper-based approval processes with fast, low-cost, and efficient electronic ones. ARX’s CoSign enables users to add secure, legally enforceable digital signatures on all of the most common document types, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, InfoPath, and more. Based on standard (PKI-based) technology, CoSign digital signatures can be verified for signer identity, intent, and content integrity by any recipient without the need for proprietary validation software or third-party support.

"Organizations today want to save paper, time and money. FileHold document management software allows them to create, organize, edit and preserve documents in electronic form. With the addition of CoSign digital signatures, these documents can receive final and secure electronic authorization with the click of a mouse," Larry Oliver, president of FileHold, said in a press release.

Both the companies believe that the CoSign partnership will now enable FileHold customers to sign, authorize, and approve electronic documents that are stored in the FileHold repository without reintroducing paper, ultimately conducting business faster and more efficiently. With FileHold, documents can be electronically reviewed and approved in a secure environment without the need to ever be printed.

"Pairing our solutions allows fully automated document management and workflows from initiation to approval. These very useful solutions delivered together will save our customers precious time and money," said John Marchioni, general manager and vice president, Business Development at ARX.

In related news, ARX, Inc., announced the recent implementation of the CoSign digital signature solution at the City of Vernon, located in the Canadian province of British Columbia.
