Nexidia Debuts Nexidia Search GRID Software Development Environment

November 22, 2011

Nexidia a provider of customer interaction analytics solutions for business transformation announced the release of Nexidia Search GRID, a new software development environment.

John Willcutts, Nexidia’s president and chief executive officer, said in a release, “Innovation in our core capabilities continues to differentiate Nexidia and demonstrate our dedication to enabling our customers and worldwide partners to improve their business outcomes.”

“Owning our technology gives us the power and agility to advance the state-the-art in audio analytics. This drive to improve means better products for customers, giving them greater competitive clout,” Willcutts added.

According to company sources, this new release will provide a powerful and streamlined architecture for developers to integrate Nexidia technology into their own applications using the latest Web-services interfaces.

Also, Nexidia has achieved a breakthrough in its core phonetic indexing and search technology for the provision of improved functionality for all Nexidia customers and development partners. The company is striving to enhance the patented phonetic indexing and search technology as they form the core for all applications the company offers to the contact center, media and entertainment, legal and homeland security markets.

The solution is considered the fastest, most accurate and most scalable solution for audio analytics, which will be further enhanced thanks to the newly added features by Nexidia.

Officials explained that Nexidia Search GRID was a REST-based software development environment that leverages modern Web services interfaces. This helps programmers to integrate Nexidia indexing and search functionality into applications such as media asset management platforms or e-discovery solutions.

Also Search GRID is designed for high volume situations that allow developers to scale out their applications to support media and distribute loads across servers. Search GRID along with Nexidia’s Large Scale Search capability lets huge media libraries to be searched instantaneously thereby delivering results almost immediately.

The new phonetic index format which is considerably smaller reduces the storage requirements for managing large audio libraries and lowers the total cost of operations for Nexidia deployments. This allows Nexidia customers to process, store, and search extremely large projects in less time cost effectively.
