Oracle Recognizes Tata Consultancy Services as Diamond Level Partner

In the in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Specialized program, Diamond level partnership is the highest ranking that all the Oracle partners strive to achieve, and Tata Consultancy Service, an India based global provider of consulting-led, integrated portfolio of IT, BPO, infrastructure, engineering and assurance services is the latest to achieve this top-level status from Oracle.


Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Specialized is the latest version of Oracle's partner program that provides partners with tools to better develop, sell and implement Oracle solutions. TCS has already achieved 21 Oracle Specializations and eight Advanced          Specializations, including Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Solaris, PeopleSoft PeopleTools and Oracle's Siebel CRM.

In a press release, Oracle announced that TCS employs more than 214,000 trained consultants in 42 countries. For a long time, the two companies have been collaborating to deliver customized solutions to marquee customers. The Diamond level status in OPN formally recognizes TCS' breadth and depth of services across Oracle offerings including the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle's PeopleSoft, Oracle's Siebel CRM, Oracle         Fusion Middleware and Oracle Exadata Database Machine, the officials at Oracle explained in a press release.

Through its Centers of Excellence for many of the Oracle technologies, TCS served the joint customers of Oracle in the Asia Pacific, Europe, the UK and Ireland, South Africa, Middle East and North America.

“Tata Consultancy Services has consistently demonstrated both a range and depth of expertise in developing solutions and integrating them with Oracle's technology portfolio. In conjunction with Oracle, TCS is well positioned to provide joint customers with integrated, synchronized, and connected enterprise solutions that meet current business and IT demands,” Senior Vice president of Strategic Alliances at Oracle, Andy Bailey commented in a statement.

In the last week of October, Tata Consultancy Services announced that it has been ranked as the world's 7th greenest company in Newsweek's Green Rankings 2011.
