AT&T's Lebanon Call Center Looking to Hire 35 New Recruits

AT&T (News - Alert) recently made an announcement that they would take on 35 customer service representatives in a hiring bid. These recruitments would be for their Lebanon, Virginia call center to enable support for AT&T wireless customers that are spread across the nation. In a release, J. Michael Schweder, AT&T President Mid Atlantic, said,  "AT&T's decision to hire 35 people in our Lebanon, Virginia, call center highlights our commitment to the communities we serve in Southwestern Virginia and our dedication to providing top notch customer service to our customers nationwide.

All new employees should be in place at the end of the month of November. These are the expectations of AT&T. Once hired, the new recruits will have to get through an intense 13-week training course. Training that is constant is an integral part of AT&T's culture. This, they believe, promotes industry based knowledge as well as career development for the employees of AT&T.

J. Michael Schweder added, "Our training program ensures that our new customer service representatives have the skills they need to meet our customers' needs and be successful. These are good jobs with wages and benefits that are among the best in the nation."

AT&T believes that their sales and service should be as extraordinary as the technology they propagate. The kind of person they are looking for will have to have people skills and be a team player. The Lebanon call center provides a great environment for a work-team and is conveniently located. The job will be to ensure that customers get the most out of AT&T’s solutions while at the same time furthering one’s career.

At AT&T, a great deal of importance is given to experience as well as education and one can earn anywhere between $9.81 to $14.61 an hour, based on the kind of experience brought to the table. One can be eligible for a hike in pay in just six months. Every successive promotion ensures you have a hike. If you are someone with potential, then you stand to benefit a great deal here. The training program is split into five weeks based in a classroom and eight of transitional training. It is necessary for the company to be able to assess your ability to learn and deliver to the best possible extent. There will be constant and ongoing training all through your time at AT&T.
