KnoahSoft Introduces Recorder 1.6

March 20, 2008

KnoahSoft, a provider of web-based VoIP and contact center solutions, has announced general availability of KnoahSoft Recorder 1.6.

KnoahSoft Recorder 1.6 is a recording solution designed to help businesses of all sizes meet their recording needs regardless of how their VoIP architecture is defined, according to KnoahSoft officials.

Officials explained that KnoahSoft Recorder supports the full spectrum of deployment options including centralized, branch or remote, such as at home, architectures and in any combination.

By using “delayed recording” option, this solution can also handle over 300 simultaneous conversations on a single server and over 500. Officials pointed out that Recorder 1.6 has low storage requirements and offers a variety of CTI driven recording options.

CTI driven recording options are 100 percent recording, event-driven, on-demand and random recording for both Inbound and Outbound call centers and includes simultaneous voice and screen capture, which includes email, chat, and BPO transactions.

“KnoahSoft Recorder has been an essential component of our contact center software for years,” Ralph Barletta, thepPresident at KnoahSoft, stated in a statement announcing the release of Recorder 1.6.

“We recognized that one recording approach was not viable for every VoIP deployment,” he said, while noting that the market lacked a truly flexible and scalable recording solution – one that covers both centralized and remote architectures and all points in between.

“Recorder 1.6 does all that and at an affordable price,” said Barletta.

KnoahSoft is an Avaya DevConnect Gold member and Cisco Technology Partner. Last Month, KnoahSoft partnered with SER Solutions, a provider of contact center solutions, to provide KnoahSoft speech recognition technology for its Harmony Performance Management solution.
