KANA Unveils Connect2Tell Self-Service Suite for Government

September 28, 2011

Lagan, a division of KANA Software, announced the launch of Lagan Connect2Tell, a suite of applications that support Government Channel Shift strategies via the Web, smartphones and social media applications like Twitter and Facebook.

Leveraging the Lagan Connect2Tell, citizens will have the capability to interact with government organizations, via self-service channels, while online and on the move.

“All over the world, governments are exploring how best to use the Web, Smartphones and Social Media in order to engage more closely with local communities and improve service experience,” said David Moody, co-founder of Lagan and VP Solutions Marketing at KANA, in a statement.

“Lagan will continue to develop more software for government that will help our customers embrace both established and emerging channels to achieve this goal,” Moody added.

The three applications included in Lagan Connect2Tell suite include Connect2Tell Web, Connect2Tell iPhone and Connect2Tell Open311. The company is planning to launch more applications in future.

The Connect2Tell suite application is designed to enable citizens and government organizations to work together to highlight and resolve issues efficiently, company officials said.

Using the Connect2Tell Web, customers can provide citizen access to existing services via the Web.

Connect2Tell iPhone enables government organizations to brand and deploy an app that citizens can download free and use to pinpoint issues while on the move.

Connect2Tell Open311 has the capability to harness the power of the many Smartphone, Web and Social Media applications being used by citizens to raise issues.

Recently, KANA Software announced that market research agency Gartner recognized the company as a Leader in the 2011 Magic Quadrant for CRM Web Customer Service. The recognition was given based on KANA’s completeness of vision and ability to execute.
