Apriva Shifts Corporate Headquarters to Scottsdale, AZ

August 29, 2011

Apriva, a provider of wireless transactions and secure information solutions, announced the shift of its corporate headquarters to a new facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Though Apriva will have a new address, the company’s telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and other points of contact will remain the same.

Apriva’s new headquarters enables the company to expand and accommodate more employees, as the facility has a centralized and spacious design. In addition, the company will enjoy more flexibility to comfortably integrate new employees as it continues to grow.

“Apriva had the good fortune of adding a substantial number of staff over the past two years, but all that growth did push us to capacity in our previous space,” said Chris Spinella, chief executive officer for Apriva. “We can easily add new team members as needed, and the ability to keep our operation in a more centralized environment will help us improve productivity and efficiency.”

With more than 50,000 square feet of space to accommodate around 160 employees, the new center allows more flexibility both in terms of square footage and layout. The new location represents an increase of 20,000 square feet as compared with the previous area, company officials said.

Recently, Apriva announced the release of a software development kit (SDK) enabling Android devices to be compliant with HSPD-12 security regulations.

The Android SDK will address a growing demand from the Executive Office of the President, the Office of Management and Budget, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense (DOD) to accelerate compliance with HSPD-12 beyond Windows Mobile and BlackBerry mobile devices.
