Michael Boustridge Joins Board of Directors at Contact Solutions

The Board of Directors at Contact Solutions has added Michael Boustridge, who has extensive global experience in the IT and telecommunication services sector.

Contact Solutions, a provider of cloud-based contact automation solutions, made the announcement. It claimed that it was assisted by The Albertini Group, Inc., in this board member search.

On joining the company, Boustridge said, “I view Contact Solutions as a company that brings not only the best in cloud-based, hosted IVR solutions to the market, but one that does so in a distinctly unique way.”

Impressed with the status of Contact Solutions in the market, Boustridge voiced the future outlook for the company. He said: “Their approach to increasing self-service rates while maintaining or improving customer satisfaction stands alone in the market. They are way ahead of their competition, and I see them as being on the cusp of great growth. I’m happy to be able to help them as they move forward.”

Boustridge, formerly the president of BT (News - Alert) Global Services, lead and managed BT's businesses with multinational corporations worldwide. His leadership skills and ability to assume responsibility for all aspects of operations and performance contributed to BT's rapid global growth.

In a press release, Paul Logan, CEO, Contact Solutions, acknowledged Mike's value and said, “Mike brings a level of insight and experience into the IT, telecommunications, sales and marketing fields that we think will be invaluable as we continue to expand and grow our company.”

Having worked at Hitachi Data Systems and at IBM (News - Alert) earlier in his career, Boustridge assumed the role of chief sales and chief marketing officer at EDS, where he concurrently ran EDS’ Agility Alliance Program to align partners with EDS’ (News - Alert) strategic roadmap for competitive advantage.

Currently, Boustridge serves on the Board of Trustees for XPRIZE Foundation and as a director on the boards of Riverbed (News - Alert) Technology and Pacific fiber.
