Calabrio, Inc., a premier provider of contact center workforce optimization software, has appointed Brian Humenansky as the company’s new vice president of Development.

In his new role, Humenansky will be responsible for guiding the strategy for Calabrio's software architecture, design and development methodologies.

He will also provide leadership for development, quality assurance and release management teams for all Calabrio products.

“We are thrilled to have an enterprise software development executive of Brian's caliber join Calabrio as we continue on our path of rapid growth with a superior user experience for contact center workforce optimization and performance management,” said Tom Goodmanson, president and CEO of Calabrio, in a press release.

Humenansky holds more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software development and management, leading teams and initiatives around new development methodologies and quality strategies, globalization and business intelligence development

Prior to joining Calabrio, Humenansky worked as global director and vice president of Product Development at Lawson Software, where he was responsible for global development activities for the Lawson Business Intelligence product line.

He was also the key architect for the Lawson Cloud Services offering, designed to provide a more affordable, flexible and agile deployment option for full-function enterprise software.

Before Lawson, Humenansky was global director of Software Development for Cognos Corporation, where he led software development for the performance management division.

Additionally, Humenansky also has experience in technology integration through mergers and acquisitions and, over the course of his career, has established an extensive patent portfolio.

Tom Goodmanson further added, “Brian is the right leader to help advance our vision for a differentiated product design and unique customer value proposition.”

In related news, Calabrio announced that its Workforce Management software version 8.3 is compliant with the NES Contact Center offering from Avaya.
