CRM for TSB Vendor Infusion Launches Certified Consultant Program
By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing EditorInfusion Software (News - Alert), which styles itself a vendor of CRM software "for True Small Businesses," has launched its Infusion Certified Consultant channel program.
The software is designed to "meet the needs of this market with a new channel partner program for Certified Consultants," the Infusionistas say. These outside vendors will sell and implement Infusion CRM to TSBs.
"Alliances play a critical part in Infusion's overall business strategy," said Clate Mask, President and CEO of Infusion. The Infusion Certified Consultant program will be led by Adam Ross (News - Alert), Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
"This program will increase Infusion Software's market penetration," said Ross, saying Ross intends to "recruit the right amount of partners, without saturating any markets."
Earlier this month Infusion hired Ross as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Infusion officials say, Ross will oversee business development, "including channel partnerships and strategic alliances for Infusion Software."
The company wants to increase its visibility to "trusted advisors, Infusion Certified Consultants, third-party independent software vendors, embedded software partners and key strategic alliances," company officials say.
Prior to Infusion, Ross was the Vice President of Channel for NetSuite (News - Alert). Prior to that he worked as National Sales Director for Best Software's CRM division.
Ross said Infusion has a Web-based product for "a market that everyone in software knows is deeply underserved," and cited its backing from venture firm Mohr Davidow.
Infusion CRM is built for marketers, entrepreneurs and small businesses, and comes with such modules as automated lead nurturing (a.k.a. "drip marketing") campaigns, e-commerce, e-mail marketing, click tracking, lead capture, billing and collections.
In November Infusion announced that the company had reached the highest levels in e-mail deliverability and e-mail volume in the company's history.
In the month of October, small business customers used Infusion CRM to send 59.9 million e-mails to prospects and customers as part of one-off and multi-step event-triggered marketing campaigns.
