LexisNexis Interaction Selected by Private Equity Firms

June 15, 2011

Three UK and European mid-market private equity firms have opted for LexisNexis InterAction as their customer relationship management tool of choice.

LexisNexis UK is a premier provider of content-enabled workflow solutions. Its InterAction will enable these three firms to identify, uncover and leverage existing relationships.

InterAction will help these firms to significantly enhance deal origination and management of the deal flow process across their organizations.

Company officials said that InterAction’s ease of use, simplicity, easy integration with Microsoft Outlook, product suitability for the private equity sector and exceptional functionality led to its selection by these firms.

Private equity firms, through InterAction, will be enabled to centralize information about potential investors, key relationships, conversations and correspondence, investment preferences and past deals.

They are also allowed to track investments and investment options, report on all phases of the due diligence process and collect a complete history of the deal for use in future prospecting.

“The market is becoming buoyant again, and private equity firms are appreciating the merits of adopting a sophisticated approach to deal origination and relationship management,” says Tim Cheadle, General Manager, LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions, in a press release.

“We are delighted by the interest we are seeing for InterAction in the market. Private equity firms, like most professional services organizations, tend to be relationship-led, and they are recognizing the value of harnessing the collective power of their networks to make sound investment decisions and increase revenue potential.”

InterAction has already been deployed by over 40 private equity firms in the UK and across Europe.

LexisNexis will be participating in the Private Equity Software & Services Showcase in London to demonstrate the functionality of InterAction.

In related news, LexisNexis, a provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, has introduced new mobile applications for its Time Matters and Firm Manager practice management software solutions.
