Aspect Hires New Executives to Accelerate Business

Customer contact and Microsoft platform solutions specialist Aspect has recently hired three new executives to its top management team to accelerate business and to lead product strategy.


The company has appointed Michael Regan as senior vice president of engineering and technology, Michael Ely as vice president of technology, and Serge Hyppolite as vice president of product management. Together, these individuals is expected to drive the business to next level and thought leadership to the Aspect solutions roadmap.

Regan, as senior vice president of engineering and technology, is set to lead Aspect in enterprise technologies, such as unified communications and collaboration, to drive the Aspect product roadmap execution.

“This is a dynamic time in the evolution of the contact centre, and Aspect is poised to break new ground,” said Regan. “It is gratifying to be with a leader that has the longevity of market success that Aspect has enjoyed, along with strong executive leadership, visionary technologists and a deep commitment to delivering meaningful innovation to customers.”

Ely is assigned to look after technologies to develop future products and solutions, leveraging his history of innovation with Aspect and his tight working relationship with Microsoft on applying its technologies to the Aspect solution set.

Ely has worked with Aspect for more than a decade and served as director of systems architecture, leading a team responsible for architecture considerations for all Aspect products, including advanced development and technology research. He has more than ten years of experience defining and developing Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions for contact centres, joining Aspect from PakNetX.

As vice president of product management, Hyppolite will be taking care of the Aspect product portfolio lifecycle and will manage the product enhancements through research, analysis, customer engagement, competitive intelligence and field communication. Hyppolite has held various engineering and global marketing positions with CELLIT, Lucent, AT&T and Nortel.

Jim Foy, chief executive officer of Aspect said that they will continue to execute on their stated vision and roadmap, drawing on the collective experience of these executives and the rest of the Aspect leadership team, as well as the expertise embedded throughout their organization.
