Activeo Now Distributing Calabrio Software's Workforce Optimization Products

Activeo, a leading France-based provider of customer relationship management (CRM) and contact center solutions in EMEA, is now distributing Calabrio (News - Alert) Inc.’s workforce optimization products for the contact center.

Calabrio, a spin-off of Spanlink, is a leading provider of workforce optimization and unified desktop software for IP-based contact centers. It’s all IP based software integrates workforce optimization within the agent and supervisor workflow and thus helps organizations align contact center business processes and performance with business objectives. Calabrio’s solutions help improve the customer experience while at the same creating operational efficiencies and boosting revenue. With this easy to install and use software, organizations can create forecasts, generate work schedules, measure quality and efficiency, access reports and alerts, and collaborate with their teams to impact performance - all from a common desktop. Calabrio distributes its software through numerous channel partnerships and an OEM relationship with Cisco (News - Alert).

The deal with Activeo expands Calabrio’s distribution network and increases its presence in the market. Specifically, Activeo will distribute Calabrio Workforce Management and Calabrio Quality Management products as part of its Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise offering.

In addition to handling distribution, Activeo offers consultation in the management, organization, conception, architecture, integration, and deployment of advanced IP Contact Centers and CRM solutions. Hence it will offer full support for Calabrio products, including installation, design, troubleshooting and professional services.

“At Activeo, we understand that contact centers expect gains in productivity and efficiency from their investments,” said Joseph Kort, CEO and president of Activeo, in a press release. “By offering Calabrio Workforce Management and Calabrio Quality Management products, we can deliver solutions that help our customers achieve their business objectives without a lot of costly IT resources to support their solution.”

“Activeo truly understands the formula to deliver successful contact center applications,” added Ralph Flamini, vice president of Worldwide Channels for Calabrio. “We are delighted that they have chosen the Calabrio products as the workforce optimization solution for their customers.”

Calabrio was acquired by Spanlink Communications, Inc. in August 2006 -- and it was maintained as a separate division -- but then in October of this year Spanlink (News - Alert) spun-off Calabrio as a separate company. Following the spin-off, Calabrio announced major enhancements to its workforce optimization suite -- and then $8 million in series B financing from BlueStream Ventures (News - Alert) and Split Rock Partners.
