Neebula Systems Releases ServiceWatch 1.5 with Real-Time Service Modeling

April 04, 2011

Neebula Systems, a provider of a new generation of Business Service Management (BSM) tools, announced the release of ServiceWatch 1.5, a BSM solution with real-time service modeling.

The company claims that ServiceWatch 1.5 is the world’s first cloud-enabled BSM solution.

As enterprises migrate to dynamic IT environments, they are no longer able to identify the location of resources that support business services. The migration eliminates the ability of existing management tools to provide true control of business service health.

“Neebula ServiceWatch 1.5 fully integrates with existing CMDBs protecting the current investment made by customers in BSM solutions,” said Yuval Cohen, CEO of Neebula Systems, in a statement. “The ability to automate the modeling process significantly reduces the cost of BSM implementations, making BSM affordable to many new customers.”

With the real-time service modeling technology, Neebula ServiceWatch 1.5 automates the creation of the business service model. The BSM solution helps businesses to keep up to date in dynamic environments required for cloud computing implementations.

Neebula ServiceWatch 1.5 real-time discovery enables businesses to ensure capability for modeling all elements that support business services, including applications, servers, virtualization, network and storage.

“Neebula has introduced a real-time discovery solution that continuously updates itself and is embedded into an intelligent event and impact analysis monitor,” said Jean-Pierre Garbani, vice president and principle analyst at independent research firm Forrester Research, in his "BSM Rediscovered" blog post.

The company announced that Neebula ServiceWatch 1.5 is currently available for customers.

In June 2009, Neebula Systems raised a first round of $5 million for from Genesis Partners and Pitango Venture Capital.
