Interactive Intelligence Certifies IntelePeer SIP Trunking Test Results

SIP trunking is the buzz word in several markets. Without enough tests and certification, companies cannot get quality customers.

Interactive Intelligence, a provider of unified business communications for contact center automation and enterprise IP telephony, certified the SIP trunking test results of IntelePeer, a provider of communications via cloud-based infrastructure.


IntelePeer SIP trunking services can be used with the all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center (CIC), version 3.0, according to Interactive Intelligence’s certification.

Interactive Intelligence demands for extensive certification testing before integrating any services with its products. IntelePeer's SIP Trunking services experienced rigorous call-flow tests. The company demonstrated quality performance and dependability for delivering and receiving calls and supporting key CIC 3.0 functionality. The functionality includes t.38 fax delivery and find-me/follow-me features.

“The Interactive Intelligence certification assures contact centers and enterprises proven dependability, interoperability and performance of our SIP trunking services with CIC,” said Margaret Norton, general manager, enterprise and applications for IntelePeer, in a statement.

“Our SIP trunking services offer contact centers and enterprises a compelling alternative to other providers based on our pricing, quality, and full-featured capabilities. We anticipate strong demand from Interactive Intelligence customers,” Norton added.

The CaaS IP platform of IntelePeer includes a Media Peering Grid service carrying more than 25 billion minutes per year, a SuperRegistry directory with more than 478 million telephone numbers, and AppworX communication application toolset.

IntelePeer's platform cost effectively delivers voice, video, SMS, and other rich-media communications to any phone or IP connected device worldwide.

The main product offerings of IntelePeer include a suite of on-demand communications and SIP Trunking services. IntelePeer simplifies communications by delivering carrier-quality service over public or private Internet Protocol connections.

Recently, IntelePeer added Apptix to the IntelePeer partner program. With the inclusion, Apptix now features IntelePeer SIP trunking services as part of its cloud-based communications and collaboration services, which include hosted e-mail, Secure IM with Presence, and collaboration.
