Linvio and FinancialForce.com Integrate e-Payments with Accounting for Salesforce.com Customers

February 20, 2011

Linvio's PaymentConnect ecommerce framework has been integrated with FinancialForce Accounting on Force.com, the cloud computing platform from Salesforce.com.

This combined solution creates the only native end-to-end order management, accounting and e-commerce solution for salesforce.com customers."We are already receiving a lot of interest for this combined solution as companies look to add e-commerce functionality to Salesforce CRM and FinancialForce Accounting," said Ron Wild, president and CTO of Linvio, Inc., in a statement.

Wild said that businesses are looking for ways to run their entire operations in the cloud and the company is delighted to have a solution that makes that possible.

Linvio specializes in "cloud-based" solutions for salesforce.com users."PaymentConnect is a very powerful and easy-to-use application that does exactly what it is supposed to do - process and manage payments," said Dave Venancio, senior manager at Den-Mat Holdings, Inc.

“Within hours, PaymentConnect was able to process payments within the native Salesforce applications and soon thereafter within our custom Force.com applications. Using PaymentConnect with FinancialForce Accounting, we can automatically post cash receipts and refunds and now manage our customer service and financials end-to-end on the Force.com platform," said Venancio.Officials with Linvio said that business-to-business companies can automate the entire order to payment process, while business-to-consumer companies can publish product catalogues and native Salesforce store fronts or connect existing shopping cart solutions hosted outside the Salesforce environment.

Company officials said that integration with FinancialForce Accounting means that reconciliation of both one-time and recurring payments to the ledger are simplified. Invoices can be paid quickly and efficiently from within the Salesforce CRM application with the appropriate accounting entries automatically generated within FinancialForce Accounting."With the combined solution, Linvio and Financialforce.com are delivering value to salesforce.com customers and truly making the accounting process easier and more reliable," said Debbie Ashton, vice president, product at FinancialForce.com. FinancialForce Accounting is the only online cloud accounting solution built natively on the Force.com platform from salesforce.com.

Earlier in June,. Linvio had announced that it has launched its new app on salesforce.com's ChatterExchange, helping to accelerate the market shift to Cloud 2, the next cloud computing paradigm.

Linvio Mini-Store is among the first apps to leverage the social components of Chatter available on the Force.com platform. These new apps can all be found on the ChatterExchange, a brand new category for social enterprise apps that is now part of AppExchange 2.
