VSC Technologies Selects IBM Information Server to Restructure Customer Information

VSC Technologies, the technology solution provider for Voyages-SNCF, the premiere online travel agency in France, has selected IBM Information Server to improve the quality and standardization of its business data and provide an accurate view of customer information.

 
VSC Technologies has hired IBM Information Server to transform and deliver trusted information as part of a strategic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) project to help the company continue to develop its operations and improve its relationship marketing with thousands of customers worldwide.
 
IBM Information Server transforms and ensures data quality among databases that include millions of customer records stored by Voyages-SNCF. Information Server gets rid of duplicate records, ensuring postal addresses are complete and e-mail address are accurate, and ensuring correct and precise information is associated with each customer for use in all of Voyages-SNCF customer outreach programs.
 
Voyages-SNCF looked to IBM's Information Server, as its continued growth created a new challenge for information systems to match the large volume of customer records, e-mail and other information about each customer generated throughout the company.
