Interactive Intelligence's Appoints New Country Manager for Saudi Arabia

Interactive Intelligence, a provider of unified business communications solutions, has stated that they have appointed Abdul Nasser Bangcola as Country Manager for Saudi Arabia. Nasser will be leading the company’s operations in the Kingdom and will be based in Riyadh.  


According to a release, Abdul Nasser has brought formidable background in services, channel account management, sales and technical expertise to his new position. Abdul Nasser is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies, business development and developing channel development strategies along with building strong customer relationships as the country head for KSA. 

Abdul Nasser, before joining Interactive Intelligence has a 12 year prior experience with Avaya in Saudi Arabia in various senior positions such as Senior Executive positions – Services Manager, Channel Account Manager (KSA), Sales Manager, the last being Territory Manager –and distinguished himself as a consistent high performer. 

Regional Sales Director for UK, Middle East and Africa at Interactive Intelligence, David Paulding, has stated that they are extremely pleased to have a professional of Abdul Nasser’s background and caliber joining Interactive Intelligence. Saudi is the largest IT market in the Middle East and holds tremendous potential for them. Looking at Abdul Nasser’s track record of outstanding career achievement and performance, they are confident that under his leadership their company will be able to rapidly increase its footprint and market share in KSA. 

Abdul Nasser, a Computer Science graduate started his career in 1998 with Lucent Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer and two years later moved to Avaya when Lucent spun off its business communications group globally. Abdul Nasser has also won several prestigious contracts for Avaya including STC, King Abdul Aziz University, Arab National Bank, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Al Inma Bank, besides others.  

Abdul Nasser remarked that Saudi Arabia is a very strategic market. The government has shown a strong commitment to promoting ICT as part of its overall development strategy and this has created lucrative business opportunities across the sector. Their multi-award winning solution is unique and is a simplified all-software approach and a single fully integrated platform delivering IP Telephony, end-to-end contact center solutions and unified messaging with a single point of administration.
